Situated in the Mantiqueira de Minas region, Sítio da Torre benefits from high elevations, fertile soil, and distinct seasons, creating an ideal environment for cultivating dense and sweet cherries. Notably, they hold the Denomination of Origin seal, ensuring the quality and origin of their coffee. A distinguishing feature is their selective hand-picking of cherries, a rarity in Brazil. Álvaro has garnered recognition for his exceptional coffees and 29 placements in the Brazil Cup of Excellence. Despite his success, he remains proactive in improving quality and pursuing sustainable practices harmonising with the environment. With tasting notes of tropical fruits and chocolate and a creamy mouthfeel, their coffee is a testament to his dedication and expertise in the craft of coffee production.
